Git – Version Control System

Git version control system has recently become the de facto standard for most open source project, but is also used in the commercial sector. Git can be viewed as a substitute for Subversion, but accessing the versioning problem in another way. While previous VCS like CVS, Subversion, etc. Worked with the central model, Git (and such.
