Relating to data provided in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data

The key concern and philosophy of GOPAS is not only the satisfaction of the participants of our trainings, but also of our customers/clients with whom we build a mutual business relationship. For this purpose, we use the personal data provided to us, which we not only protect carefully, but also process in accordance with applicable legislation.

informs you about its privacy practices, what data it collects, uses, discloses and transfers, as well as the choices you can make and the rights you can exercise in relation to your personal data under applicable legislation.

What personal data we use and for what purposes we need it

GOPAS only processes personal data containing name, surname and e-mail, which are necessary for the purposes related to the fulfilment of contracts, ensuring the organization and implementation of the services provided, in particular of trainings, conferences, seminars and certifications.

In general, GOPAS collects personal data only to the extent that it was provided in connection with the order or the conclusion of a contract, i.e. only to the extent necessary for the performance of a contract.

On what legal basis we process them

In the case of personal data provided for the performance of services within the framework of the organization and implementation of trainings, conferences, seminars or other services provided by GOPAS, we process the aforementioned personal data in our legitimate interest consisting in the need to identify the person to the extent strictly necessary for the performance of a contract.

Protecting the privacy of children

GOPAS products and services are not intended for children and GOPAS does not knowingly participate in the collection of personal information from children. Who we share personal data with

GOPAS may share personal data with business partners, in particular for order fulfilment or marketing campaigns. These business partners and service providers include, but are not limited to, training resellers, providers of training materials and courseware, payment processors, financial institutions, delivery companies, or information technology service providers. Business partners are contractually obligated to keep information received on behalf of GOPAS confidential and secure and not to use it for any purpose other than that for which it was provided to them.

GOPAS may share personal information as required by law or legal process, such as in response to a duly authorized and lawful request by a police or public authority (including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements), in the enforcement or protection of GOPAS's rights, when such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss as permitted by applicable law, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.

International data transfers

The information that GOPAS collects may be stored, processed and transferred between the countries in which it operates in order to use this information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

All personal information stored and processed by GOPAS is securely located within the European Union. There is no systematic transfer of data outside the EU for any other purpose. GOPAS is committed to using EU model clauses in all contracts in which data may be transferred to the USA.

How we keep personal data secure

To prevent the loss, unauthorized access, use or disclosure of information and to ensure the proper use of your information, GOPAS uses reasonable and appropriate physical, technical and administrative procedures to protect the information it collects and processes.

How long we keep personal data

GOPAS retains personal data only for the period of time specified in customer contracts and does not attempt to retain data for longer than necessary to perform the services provided and to comply with legal and contractual obligations. When we no longer have a need to use your personal information, we will remove it from our systems and records or take steps to anonymize the information.

GOPAS reserves the right to make corrections, changes or additions to the Privacy Policy at any time. If we revise our Privacy Policy, we will post the revised changes with an updated revision date. If there are significant changes to our Privacy Policy that materially alter our privacy practices, we may notify you, for example, by sending you an email or posting a notice on our homepage or social media pages. This Privacy Policy was last updated in July 2022.
