21.5 Billion Devices to be Connected to IoT by 2025

Whilst in 2015 only 3, 8 billion devices were connected to IoT worldwide, this year it will be 8.3 billion and 21.5 billion by 2025, according to Gartner. Thus IoT is becoming a more and more frequent part of our everyday lives. After all we all come in contact with IoT-connected devices on a daily basis.

IoT – Collecting Data with Arduino UNO [IOT01]

First of series of IoT courses which introduces students to building basic Arduino UNO microcontroller devices. After a short theoretical part, students the basics of working with Arduino, about its circuit logic, and the handling of its input data with Arduino programming. IoT – Data processing with SQL Server and Azure [IOT02]

Second in the IoT series, this course focuses on further work with high-volume data obtained through various devices.  Participants learn about various types of data storage, manipulation and transformation. At the end of the course, they will also find out about possibilities of predicting further behaviour of a device or its environment.


Vladimír Mužný is an independent consultant and database solutions developer for the Microsoft SQL Server platform from version 7.0 on. In recent years he has been focusing on trainings and developing projects for production support and operation as well as on migration projects.
