Microsoft Certification Renewal Free of Charge!
As of February 2021, you will be able to extend your certification by an additional year from its expiration date.
As of June 2021 in view of the fast pace with which new technologies are being developed, new Microsoft certificates will only be valid for 1 year.
This is Microsoft’s way of maintaining all of its certifications as up to date as possible and updating the expertise of certificate holders more frequently. Read more.

Certification renewal requirements
- You need to hold a valid Microsoft certification that expires within approximately six months.
- To renew your certification, present your score on Microsoft Learn before your certification expires.
