The 2019 version of the certification system is slightly different from its prior versions and is divided as follows:

Students can choose to complete the Associate and Expert level exams individually and receive a certificate only for the specific area they tested for. Please bear in mind that not all Associate level exams have a corresponding Expert level exam.

Associate:

Expert:

Whenever a student completes any 3 Associate level examinations (i.e. receives three certificates), they will receive an additional special certificate (Microsoft Office Specialist: Associate).

If they obtain this certificate (Microsoft Office Specialist: Associate) and manage to complete any other two Expert level exams, they will receive the special Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert (Microsoft 365 and Office 2019) certificate guaranteeing general knowledge in the area.
