IT conferences

GOPAS’s key community activity is organizing conferences, seminars and workshops for IT experts as well as the public. Multi-day and one-day GOPAS conferences such as TechEd, HackerFest, or JavaDays are among the largest IT events in the Czech Republic. Throughout the year, however, GOPAS responds to the latest news and interests in the IT field by organizing smaller events such as Power BI Day and JSDays.

The Power BI Day conference will be appreciated not only by data analysts or financial managers, but also by all those who work with data and reports at a more advanced level, need to be able to process them, decipher them and interpret them clearly. The date of the conference is March 20, 2024. 

JSDays is a conference with the most important Czech and Slovak experts from the world of front-end development. The conference is intended for JavaScript developers, front-end programmers and in general everyone interested in JavaScript and related technologies. In 2023 you can look forward to the ONLINE form. The date of the conference is April 29, 2024.

TechEd is the largest IT professional conference in the Czech Republic and this year it will be held for the 21st time. The conference is intended for everyone in the field of information technology who wants to have an overview of current and future trends not only in the field of Microsoft products, but in IT in general. The date of the conference is May 21-23, 2024.

HackerFest is the largest conference on Cybersecurity and hacking in the Czech Republic. Every year, HackerFest participants can look forward to an up-to-date overview of all forms of hacking, as well as tips on how to effectively protect personal and corporate data. The speakers are well-known domestic and foreign IT Security experts. The conference will take place on September 26, 2024.

JavaDays is a two-day conference with the most important Czech and Slovak personalities from the world of Java. JavaDays is dedicated to Java developers, programmers and all those interested in Java and related technologies. The conference will take place on November 12-13, 2024.
